The Book of Mormon Musical- a religious satire musical

Here are a few comments from You tube about the "Book of Mormon musical"  It's a free country and freedom of speech is encouraged, what can I say.

This is a cute song. I saw the show. I did not think it made Mormons look bad. It just emphasized to me how silly ALL religion is. Not necessarily Mormonism.

Hi Im LDS and would like to share out beilefs we beileve that god is the creator and jesus came to earth to die for our sins and the god head is god, jesus, and the holy ghost. 3 seprate beings, we beileve the gods true church was restored through joseph smith and was given the golden plates:the book of mormon, and was told to establish gods kingdom on earth today, we beileve that if we are worthy enough we can become like god, and our purpose on earth today is a test of faith until judgment day

I'm from Jackson County, Missouri and if you think that this is the Garden of Eden....I'm sorry to disappoint. This is God's shitter.

I'm not a Mormon, but having met several Mormons and having studying the religion for a class, I think this is brilliant! I also believe that people of all religions can laugh at the idiosyncrasies of all our religious practices and taboos. True belief in God and Jesus Christ has been perverted by too many people thinking they need to regulate religion, so why not laugh at that through song? Way to go Matt and Trey!!! BRAVO!!!
